7/10/2004 Put a lid on it!
If you would like a lid on your green box, the easiest and quickest way to get hold of one is simple. Just place a note on your box when you put it out for collection, the crews are carrying them on the rounds so they can leave you one after they have emptied your box!
20/07/2004 The Best Way To Recycle For Our Staff
Our staff from time to time get cuts and bruises to help us to reduce accidents the best way to use your box is to :-
Textiles - Bagged and tied.( to keep Dry )
Paper - Bagged loosly. ( easier to put in the stillage )
Glass - Just place in the box. ( We seperate into three colours on site.)
Tins/cans - Just place in the box. ( If bagged we have to split open the bags this is the source of the majority of cuts.)
